Tatiana's Experience

Singer/Vocalist/Rapper/Lyricist/Songwriter: : I’ve been singing since I was 5 years old, performing for school talent shows, college banquets and concerts for over 500+ people, and on Youtube. I’ve always loved rap, but recently got into writing and recording my own verses and collaborating with other artists in the local Jersey City, NJ scene. I’ve been able to showcase my talents on my first EP entitled “Temperance” on BandCamp, as well as other singles like “Good Karma” on my Soundcloud. Sound Designer & Editor: During my time at Syracuse University, I had the chance to take multiple audio production courses including Music Recording, Sound For Picture, and Audio Storytelling where I’ve utilized by proficiency in Adobe Audition to create a range of audio narratives and works such as Reclaiming Rosewood, a historical documentary about my family’s lineage and connection to The Rosewood Massacre. Podcast Host/Producer/Consultant: I had the pleasure of creating a pilot podcast series entitled, “Soul Cypher” where I break down the spiritual essence of your favorite Hip-Hop and R&B tracks, artists, and albums. That semester long project allowed me to get behind the ins and outs of executing a podcast from start to finish (i.e creating an entire series, the graphic art, recording and editing the audio, and uploading them onto podcast housing platforms to distribute the media). My experience allowed me to work with HowlRound Theatre Commons, a non-profit service organization based out of Emerson College’s Office of the Arts, as a Podcast Consultant. I aided in supporting the podcasts producers to ensure content is reaching their targeted audience of theatremakers in accessible and engaging ways, identify best practices for producing and airing podcasts on HowlRound, and analyze and interpret podcasts analytics to suggest implementable strategies to ameliorate podcast production. Project Coordination/Administrative & Communications Work/Social Media Management: I had the pleasure of working with The FARSIGHT Agency, a boutique leadership development and coaching consultancy that works with socially conscious business leaders and their teams to create motivating workplace environments that empower all to rise in their talents. In this role I managed the communications and scheduling for the organization, created social media posts, created and maintained the social media calendar, managed the Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts for FARSIGHT. Podcast Engineering & Audio Engineering: Currently, I’m a Podcast and Tracking Engineering Intern at Icon Studios in Atlanta, GA where I’m training to engineer podcast and artist sessions, as well as manage the front desk, take booking requests, and assist in other studio ad-hoc duties.
