About Amber Sweeney
I'm a singer, songwriter, musician, vocal producer and touring artist! Below is my official bio to get to know some of what I've done throughout my career.
Amber Sweeney’s recent release, “Beautiful”, is for those who struggle with the idea they are not young enough, talented enough, or pretty enough to follow their dreams. It is her first release since the 2018 chart topping hit, “Sweet Light", where Sweeney teamed up with Australian producer, Jazzy D. "Sweet Light" found success all over the world, reaching #1 on the U.S. and U.K. Indie Soul charts. Paul Miller of BBC Radio says of "Sweet Light has the potential to be huge, and to be one of those classic ballads we’ll be playing in years to come.” 2020 will brings more inspiring Acoustic Soul tunes, and more touring across the US. “I have a lot to say about where to find our value and our worth, in a world that is constantly pointing out where we fall short.” ~ Amber Sweeney
In 2017 Amber released a power-filled E.P. titled, Believing In Love. Believing in Love is a triumphant body of musical emotion produced and recorded at the renowned London Bridge Studio with producer Geoff Ott, knitted with Amber’s signature soul/blues sound. Amber Sweeney’s vocal range is wide and her personal sensibility to genre strong. Her songwriting coupled with amazing vocal versatility allows emotion to dictate the raw edge or crystal sweetness a song requires.
In 2014, Amber teamed up with Geoff Ott for the first time to record a single with Seattle based record label, London Tone Music, which was released as part of their 52x52: A Year In Your Ear project. Her single “Lone Sailor” reached #4 on the iTunes Blues chart.
Since then, Amber has partnered with Geoff as vocal producer and co-writer with Miller Campbell, for Miller's Billboard Charting album, Sweet Whiskey, released in November 2017.
In 2013, Amber released two independent E.P.s: The Starting Line and Christmas Time, which are available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, Spotify, Pandora Radio and through other outlets.
Amber’s music has been featured on BBC Radio, JazzFM, Solar Radio, Seattle Wave Radio, Portland Radio Project, KMUZ, KZME, and KINK’s Homegrown Spotlight, and many other streaming stations worldwide.
Amber’s voice, musical talent, and songwriting have also been featured in two CW television series: One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected ("Flying Machine," "Girl In The Moon," "Quicksand," "Maybe," "Stars," "Feel This" - written by Jonathan Jackson of Enation) while one half of the duo known as Everly. Her voice has also been featured in Stephen King’s film adaptation of Riding The Bullet, while bass player and back up singer for the rock band Enation. She can also be heard on another northwest band’s album, The Alleged Album by One From Many ("Tears We Cry Alone" and "Shape Of Your Heart.")
Along with recording and performing, Amber is involved in a number of local and national organizations. She is an advocate in bringing inspiration and mentoring to the youth in her community, by supporting organizations such as Rocksolid Teen Center in her hometown of Battle Ground, Washington. She is currently a Governor for The Recording Academy's Pacific Northwest Chapter.

Amber's Experience
Aside from using all of my skills on my own projects, I’ve worked with a number of artists around the globe, and across genres primarily as both a songwriter and as a vocal producer. I often use my home studio for tracking/editing vocals. I’ve also worked alongside vocalists in the studio to help them produce melodies and harmonies that stand out and effectively communicate the heart of the song. I’ve also co-written a number of songs with artists that have found charting success and placements on television shows.
