Hello, So nice to be here! My name is Ali Hart. I am a music producer, singer, and songwriter. You can call me "the late bloomer". I spent many of my early year's YEARNING to be a part of the world in making music, but I had no clue where to even start. I know many of you understand this. I spent many of my years buying into the false beliefs that it was "too late for me" since I didn't know how to formally play an instrument, nor did I believe that my voice was good enough, along with society pumping us all with ageism. Some "straight-up bull-shit" I say now! Finally though, at 33 years old, I kicked the doors open to the music journey and I haven't looked back! I've been studying production, first with Logic and then with Ableton live for roughly seven years now. The crazy thing is that I still feel like I'm at the beginning, and I know that I still have so much more to learn, so I'm finding my peace with this and leaning into the belief and understanding that we all have our own timing. I've studied voice and now I'm studying piano. I can't imagine my life without music, its truly one of the most spiritual experiences and most powerful healing modalities in our existence. Even though this journey has not been easy, what would be even harder is to deny what the heart wants the most. Being tucked away in the state of Maine can make this experience feel very lonely and isolating at times, so I am incredibly excited to join this community and to connect with you ladies! Remember as Alicia says "we all have our own unique sound and gifts to offer to the world that no one else has". I salute all of you for your courage and heart to pursue this path!
