About Tara Litvack

Tara Litvack is a freelance music director, accompanist, vocal coach, and arranger based in the UK and Canada. She has played in the pits of the Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, Charlottetown Festival, and Princess of Wales Theatre. Tara was the Shaw Festival Music Intern in 2014 mentored by Paul Sportelli and was the first woman to conduct a musical in the Shaw Festival Theatre. Currently on tour Keyboard 1/Cover MD for the Jersey Boys UK Tour and Cover Pianist for The Lehman Trilogy (West End) Selected credits: Reframed, The Wild Party, Falsettos (The Musical Stage Co.) Cabaret (Shaw Festival), Erik with a K, Legally Blonde, Michael John LaChiusa Concert (Theatre Sheridan), Sweeney Todd (Talk Is Free Theatre - Immersive production in London, England), Anne and Gilbert (The Guild), Strictly Ballroom (Keyboard Sub - Mirvish Productions), HMS Pinafore (Keyboard Sub - Stratford Festival). She has collaborated on new musical works with The Musical Stage Co. (He Is Coming, Polly Peel, La Casati), Theatre Sheridan (Erik with a K), Musical Works in Concert (Misprint, The Yellow Ribbon, Animal Pharmacy) and the Toronto Fringe Festival (Rounding the Bend). Tara is also a sought after vocal coach and audition and masterclass accompanist playing for Mirvish's Dear Evan Hansen search and a Stratford season accompanist. Tara completed her MA in Music Direction at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is now pursuing music directing and session work in the UK.
