About Linda Mangunda

I am 24 years old slovak zimbabwean, living in Slovakia and Czech Republic. This year I am about to become an engineer in ecomomics in Czech Republic. Used to study in France as well. Worked in France and in the USA. For two years I am managing THE YOUNIVERSE music band. Every day I connect the musicians and their music to both established and new audiences, entrepreneurs, venues, festivals and media partners and I maintain relationships between them. I like creating Spotify playlists and I used to work as a radio programmer, where I was in charge of selecting local and international artists for the radio through understanding needs, mood and culture of our listeners. Thanks to this experience I learned to appreciate music from across all genres and styles and I also learned what makes music appropriate for different situations. My ambition is bring my band THE YOUNIVERSE to the USA audience and to listeners all around the world. Continue in creating this band strong as a brand as well. Later (or sooner), I would like to become also great A&R.

Linda's Experience

As I mentioned in my biography, as a manager of THE YOUNIVERSE music band, I every day connect the musicians and their music to both established and new audiences, entrepreneurs, venues, festivals and media partners and I maintain relationships between them. My work also concerns both, creative part and business part. From creative consulting during recording new singles and on songwriting, creating graphic and video visual, outfit styling; to looking for a new opportunity to play, to gain partners, tour managing, PR, budgeting and gaining different streams of finances. I used to work in a radio, as a programmer. As I am mentioning in my biography, I was in charge of selecting local and international artists for the radio through understanding needs, mood and culture of our listeners. Thanks to this experience I learned to appreciate music from across all genres and styles and I also learned what makes music appropriate for different situations. I am one of the creators and curators of the band’s Spotify playlist YOUNIVERSAL ADDICTION.
