Stacy Lynn Norris is an award-winning Chicago-based drummer (Chicago Music Award 2018 & 2024). She is a sound designer and audio engineer. Stacy has been influenced by the unique heritage and continued evolution of the Chicago blues and jazz sounds and plays with the Chicago-based band A Patch of Blues. Stacy has a B.S. in Digital Audio & Recording Arts from the University of St. Francis. When not performing on stage herself, Stacy does sound design for theater and live sound reinforcement. She enjoys volunteering in her community and using music as a tool for healing and community fellowship. She is currently working on "Healing Pieces", an experimental sound collection that integrates nature and body soundscapes for multi-sensory experiences. Stacy is all about music and sound!
