My name is Kate Berreth. I am a lifelong songstress and natural mystic of Music. I write songs, compose, produce, build beats & full tracks, sing without limitation and am a multi-instrumentalist. I walk around in a state of being Music more often than not and have managed to make work out of it! I started recording my original songs as a young teenager in Seattle, pursued my higher education in Music at Berklee in Boston, and have managed to sustain myself as a working musician ever since. This is largely through my music teaching practice. Music came so naturally it renders my music teaching a karmic duty. My heart is the art of songwriting, and I have been tuned into the channel since a baby. The music industry hurt my feelings and I found out it was gross to girls real quick (i.e. "honey you're the whole package but you have GOT to do something about those legs"). I never blamed Music - I just kept getting better at my art, and clear on healing and strengthening my heart. By now I am an articulate, powerful woman with expertise, understanding, grounded experience, and resonant bells of truth to ring; on the verge of actually *releasing (summer 2022) my most important record to-date, in loving memory of and dedication to my most important musical mentor who tragically lost his life in the most rock&roll way you've never even heard of. I have all these young songstresses thriving under my wing, and I already get to be the change I see in the world on a daily basis, but I see myself doing it so much louder, and the sound seems to be getting significantly closer~
