About Nia Orea

Marcia Evans, known professionally as Nia Orea , is a British Jamaican record producer and musician. She is a multi-genre music producer, with strong influences within the EDM and Electronic Music industry with flirtations of other genres like Pop, Future Bass, Trap, and Hip Hop. Nia Orea’s introduction into music happened at a young age. She played the piano and was heavily involved in school choirs. Apart from wanting to be a performer, her interest lies into production and she dabbled into self-taught music/audio production until she enrolled in school to study audio engineering. To show homage to her culture her first production was a Dancehall fusion called “Push Start Riddim” featuring various artiste. It was released on Tunecore and later picked up and distributed by Island Def Jam distribution. She released her first five-track album in 2013 called “Profiles” with the title track I Can featured on Spinnup, a sub label part of the Universal Records distribution. This release gained traction worldwide. Nia then teamed up with Native Instrument do a workshop for Native Meet-up in London following the release of her second EP Gifted with her single Colours being featured on Pandora radio. Further opportunities came her way in 2019 after the release of her single Budda and Mythical Nia Orea recently released her latest single Sticks her most popular release to date.
