About Yvonne Drazan

Yvonne Drazan Biography: Born and raised in L.A, Yvonne Drazan has been in the music industry for over 30 years. She is currently the VP, West Coast Latin Division at peermusic, where she began in 2003 as Creative Manager. She represents many writer/artists including Gloria Trevi, Mala Rodriguez, Molotov, Lupita Infante, Gaby Moreno, Alex Anwandter, El Komander, and Chiquis, among others. Her experience includes Label Manager for Gustavo Santaolalla’s imprint Surco/Univesal, (Juanes, Molotov, Bajo Fondo) and coordinating his film scoring work (Amores Perros, Motorcycle Diaries) as well as outside productions (Café Tacuba, Kronos Quartet). Prior to Surco, Drazan was the National Manager of Media Relations at Rhino Records (Los Lobos, Ramones, The Cars, Devo), was a road manager for various Latin Rock artists (Caifanes, Maldita Vecindad, La Castañeda) and a marketing assistant at EMI Latin (Selena Quintanilla, Jon Secada). Drazan began her career in 1988 as the co-founder of Club Rock En Español, the first organization to promote Latin Rock music in the United States.

Her experience includes being Label Manager for Gustavo Santaolalla’s imprint Surco/Univesal, where she worked for artists such as Juanes, Molotov and Bajofondo. She was also National Manager of Media Relations at Rhino Records and worked with legends such as Ramones, Sugarhill Gang, Los Lobos, The Cars, and many others. Drazan, began her career in 1991 at EMI Latin, in marketing and promotion for the complete roster including Selena Quintanilla, Grupo Mazz, Alvaro Torres, and the Barrio Boyzz.
