About Molly Jenson

I am a singer/songwriter and voice over actor originally from San Diego, CA but now based out of Los Angeles. I began touring as a solo musician and back up singer in 1999 before self-releasing my debut album, “Maybe Tomorrow” (produced by Greg Laswell), in 2005. I signed to Bully! Pulpit Records, in a joint partnership with Nettwerk Music Group in 2008 and re-released my debut album in 2009 with an added duet featuring Switchfoot lead singer, Jon Foreman. In 2010 I was a part of the resurgence of Lilith Fair - performing alongside Emmylou Harris, Brandi Carlile, Sarah McLachlan, and Miranda Lambert. I began working as a voice over actor in 2010. In 2012 I joined with Los Angeles based country artist Sam Outlaw as his backup singer and guitar player. My official bio doesn't say this, but in 2017 I went through a divorce, got out of a toxic work relationship, and stepped away from the religion I grew up in and spent most of my life identified by. It felt like 3 divorces in a year. In December of 2017, broken down and exhausted, I began writing songs for myself again (after a 7 year break) and that opened the floodgates. In 2018 I received The Lincoln City Fellowship artist grant and committed to making my sophomore solo album. I teamed up with old friend and producer, Greg Laswell, and we recently completed my sophomore full-length album. The album will be released this year. I am currently spend my days planning my album release and doing voice overs.
