mesmi is a trailblazer in music—an artist who also produces/engineers, she believes in uplifting her fellow female, AAPI & POC communities as part of her creative journey. She currently works as a producer, songwriter, artist and consultant in Los Angeles. Constantly growing, mesmi's skills have expanded from her early singer/songwriter origins into music recording. Through her company VATOCA Studios, she offers specialized services such as vocal production, mixing and music consulting, and is able to bring an acute blend of both creative detail and big-picture strategy from her own artist journey and wide-reaching professional experience. As someone who encountered numerous hurdles as a woman in music, she founded VATOCA Studios based on the desire to use her studio skills in aiding other artists, especially other women in the music industry.
