My name is Maya Satterwhite, aka Maya by Name, and I’m a singer-songwriter from Buffalo, NY. I’ve self-released and written two EPs, ‘Arrival’ (2015) and ‘Next Verse’ (2016), as well as my new album, ‘She’ (2018). I have a passion for vulnerable storytelling and making women feel badass.

Maya's Experience

I wrote and composed my first EP, ‘Arrival’ (2015). I wrote my second and third projects, ‘Next Verse’ (2015) and ‘She’ (2018). I’ve co-written for artists Steve Balesteri and Breakerbox. In 2018, I wrote and provided vocals for ‘I’m a Fighter’, featured in NCIS: New Orleans.
