About Katherine Petts

Originally from San Pedro, CA, I'm a promoter and a marketing student at Purdue University! I'm a marketing co-chair in the concert committee at my school, and I started a organization called Purdue Underground (insta: @theunderground.purdue) that throws house shows around campus. I am so passionate about them both, and I LOVE bringing people together through music. I'm a senior, graduating in May 2020, and there is nothing I want to do more than work in live music. I have so much to learn, and it would be amazing to learn from the strong and inspiring women like all of you in this network!

Katherine' Experience

I have had some experience with production management by being an intern at Purdue Convocations (the performing arts department at my school), by assisting with production details and artist accommodations during their visit. I also have learned production management skills through running the Purdue Underground house shows and organizing the schedule and all of the logistics, all while keeping each person involved (artists, sound crew, house-owners, managers) in the loop. House shows are on a smaller scale, but being in charge of the whole operation allowed to learn about every aspect.
