About kaylee Federmann

A storyteller at heart, and a singer-songwriter by trade, when Kaylee was just 10 years old she found her father’s old guitar in their basement. After expressing interest in learning the instrument, he refurbished it and taught her a few chords. Little did they know that two short years later her father would tragically pass away from cancer, and that Kaylee – coping with his loss – would begin to teach herself using his old guitar books. Fast forward a few years, Kaylee has played many stages such as Brighton Music Hall in Boston opening up for Ally Brooke of Fifth Harmony, City Winery opening up for Sarah Grace of season 15 NBC's The Voice as well as other stages across the country such as The Mint LA and The Basement in Nashville. "Her Song" Kaylee's latest release was originally posted as a demo on tiktok that generated over half a million views and soon lead to over 20k monthly Spotify listeners and landing several Spotify playlists. Kaylee has written and produced songs with Bleu McAuley (Demi Lovato, Seleana Gomez, HBO etc..) Daniel Layus ( Augusta, Brandi Carlile etc..). She has also been on several college and AAA radio stations. Kaylee is releasing more music summer of 2021 and plans to make many returns to the stage as the pandemic fades!

kaylee's Experience

As an artist, I have worked with people to help create a developing brand, image and sound that I resonate with and find unique to me. As a content creator, I use my brand as an outline to create content that is relatable and shares the message I want to communicate. As a songwriter, I taught myself guitar, piano and how to use logic to produce my own music. This helps me when collaborating with other producers and writers when trying to get ideas across. I’ve taken topline and songwriting classes at Berklee and have learned how to collaborate as well as pitch music to other writers and artists. As a performer, I started with open mics when I was 14 and have worked up to playing house shows and clubs like Brighton Music Hall, City Winery, The Mint (LA) The Basement (Nashville). I also have experience playing in wedding bands and weekly residences; as well as solo gigs that range from 30 min open slots to 3 hour restaurant shows.
