I’m a 20 year old vocalist and songwriter from Long Island, New York. Some of my favorite artists and musical influences are Adele, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lawrence. I also love classic vocalists like Nina Simone, Etta James, and Patsy Cline. My songwriting heroes are Maisie Peters, Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, and Julia Michaels. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember, and when I was 13 I realized I wanted it to be my career; that’s when my mom signed me up for Debbie Gibson’s Electric Youth Performance Workshop. The experience taught me how to be confident as a singer and I’m now lucky enough to call Debbie my music mentor. I’ve performed on many stages since and was most recently blessed to sing on the stage of the legendary Apollo, currently taking place in the semi-finals of their “Amateur Night” Competition. In addition to writing songs, one of my favorite hobbies include recording covers and posting them on my social media @jackieromeomusic. I’ve just recently graduated from Massapequa High School and the Long Island HS of Performing Arts, excited to dedicate all of my time to writing, recording original music, and performing live.
