Hi! I'm Gwen. Under the artist name 'Gwen and the Good Thing', I have performed on the BBC Introducing stages at Glastonbury, Wilkestock and Standon Calling Festivals, sung live on BBC Three Counties Radio, and played at iconic London venues such as the O2 Academy Islington, the Borderline Soho and Camden Assembly. As an undergraduate, I studied paper and studio composition under Vic Hoyland and Jonty Harrison, and now predominantly write pop music for myself and other artists. My music has been played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Three Counties Radio. In 2020, my music reached over 44,000 listeners on Spotify, garnering 71.2K streams and several coveted playlist spots across the platform.

Gwen and the Good Thing are a bedroom pop group from Milton Keynes. As their following has grown, their music has reached festival stages (Big Feastival, Sundown Festival, the final of the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition) and filled iconic venues across London (The Borderline, Camden Assembly, 02 Academy Islington) and the UK. The band has most recently been picked for London’s Savage Sessions, and New Music Monday at The Ned.
