My name is Elsie Kealoha. I am 35 years young. From as young as I can remember I loved music especially the drums. I grew up in church and became the drummer for my church at age 11. As a female I knew I was treated differently at times but I never cared. I continued to play and taught myself discipline. Through high school I joined band class but that didn’t last because I got caught up with other distractions. I never got to finish high school and dropped out my 11th grade year. I continued to play drums for the church till I was about 23 and then I left. Throughout my years I worked hard and did a lot of everything except my passion which is music. Today I want to refocus my life and career back to where I know I’m supposed to be at. Music was my first love I just knew it at a young age. I just need to find the path where to begin.
