Elín Ey is a musician born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland. Being raised by parents who aree stablished musicians in the Icelandic music scene she picked up the guitar at a young age. And startes writing her own music. After a few years performing as a singer songwriter in Iceland and around the world Elin started a project with her sisters and musician Oculus, their band Sisy Ey released a few popular singles and played festivals such as Sonar Barcelona, Stockholm and Reykjavik, Glastonbury and Eurosonic to namea few also collaborating with artists such as John Grant, Hercules and Love affair and Kasper Bjorke. The past couple of years Elin has worked on her solo EP that she just released, the album is produced by her brother whos artist name is Bleache and their father, Mezzofortes keyboardist Eythors Gunnarsson plays piano and synths and Beta their sister does harmonizing. Elin says the album is a mix from the folky scene she is used to and the electronic world she met with Sisy Ey, „the outcome is sadRnB“ she says and laughs.
