A energetic, female solo-artist, with Brazilian-Italian-Spanish roots. Born in the heart of New York, USA originally, and world traveled and mostly raised in Vancouver BC, Canada. A well seasoned recording and performing artist with a small independent label called Boss Records/ Vancouver Records based out of Vancouver, BC, Canada. L.A, Vegas, ATL are her projected tour spots in the future. (((*EKKO))), is most often heard locally playing live solo sets wearing elaborate wardrobe / sometimes dancing and hyping up crowds with her fun banging beats and vocals/ original raps. When she's just not rapping solo she is also the front girl to the rap duo E-Squared that includes her other half / (husband) James Michael aka ( Essentials*~ )..... they finish each others lines and compliment each other in ways that are unique as they perform as a couple also. She creates music with him 50/50 and have a debut EP called "STARES" with a single called Getting Paper on it that is a fan favourite. The early 90's vibes and OG styles on the rnb, pop, hip-hop ( urban edge ), is clear through out all of her imagery and video clips / musicians styles. Influences include Brandy, Mary J, Mia, Cassie, Ciera and especially Aliyaah. Also a fan of production like Peety Pablo, Fabulous, The Dream, ( old school ) and new school rnb, pop like The Weeknd, Drake and Doja Cat. Ekko is known to her friends as being young blood and a clown who makes people around her laugh and is super disciplined and devoted to her craft as an artist and as a mother of two beautiful girls, and being a wife. Music is all she has known since birth. Her mother and father were a power-couple playing and planning big Brazilian festivals, with traditional music like samba, lambada and bosa-nova all throughout her formative years in Vancouver BC. Try-lingual and fluent in ( Italian and Portuguese ) some what fluent in speaking /understanding Spanish. Reggeaton and reggae / electronic music is another heavy influence on Ekko.
