Diana's Experience
I flex my skills as a Performer, Musician, Instrumentalist, & Singer all the time. I have been featured at local open mics, performed for local corporate & casual events, and as of recently I am a live musician at Carowinds, NC!
But besides live entertainment, I also have been able to use my other skills listed above through my experiences in local studios in Florida and while in my studies at Valencia College (A.S. Music Production). I Co-produced my most recent single Troublemaker (Acoustic). I have vocal produced and been a recording engineer for a few of my classmates projects. While I was studying for my A.S. I got to be an assistant engineer to all my classmates so I definitely know how ProTools works, how to set up a mic, get levels on a mixing board, outboard gear, etc. As far as songwriting…A great example I use when I am asked this question is something that happened recently. A buddy of mine was struggling to come up with a catchy line for his song, I drove over to the studio and in 30 minutes he had a hook and some other lines to play around with. So I’d say it’s safe to say that songwriting is my strongest skill out of them all… but I am more focused on strengthening my other skills I mentioned above. Hopefully She is the Music is the place to do exactly that 😉
