Diamond Dej is an upcoming alternative rapper, singer and songwriter in Brooklyn, but grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Diamond was first a poet, and soon her poetry turned into rapping and singing. She grew up experiencing multiple hardships and it reflects in her music and style. On one end her sound is gritty and aggressive, and the other side is vulnerable and melodic. Diamond's big goal currently is to write her first 100 songs. So far she's on number 30. Diamond is looking to network with current songwriters and artists to get more exposure in the creative and business world of music. When she's not creating music she enjoys meeting other creatives, plus size modeling and making handmade crystal necklaces for those who want to boost their energy.
