About Chelsea Balan
Chelsea Balan was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating college in Syracuse, she moved to Nashville and hit the ground running. Through immersing herself in the songwriting community, Chelsea has become a favored collaborator amongst her peers.
Chelsea is a methodical writer -- her focus is figuring out the hook, and what lyric/ melody/ production idea is best to elevate it. Her interesting melodies come naturally and often end up in whatever project she is a part of. Chelsea consistently pushes herself and co-writers not to settle and fights for the lyrics to be just as strong as everything else in the song.
