BITTERS is an alt-pop project featuring British front-woman Claudia Mills. Inspired by 90s alt such as Alanis Morissette, No Doubt and The Cardigans, BITTERS combines sonic nostalgia with modern flair. After supporting Pale Waves on their UK and Ireland tour earlier in 2022, BITTERS has already secured spins on BBC Radio 1 as well as playing her 1st sold out headline show in London and NY. BITTERS debut EP 'I'm Fine' was released October 27th and a full length LP is set to release in 2023. Currently seeking a kick-ass female team to continue building the project with!!

On behalf of She Is The Music, it is with great pleasure that we recognize the below women for their extraordinary contributions to the music industry at our inaugural Women Sharing The Spotlight cocktail event.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together. This is a unique event for industry leaders to not only converge and celebrate -- but to share their platforms, their voices, and their strength with one another and with the next generations of women forging the path ahead.

The list has been selected by our advisory council as one of 50 exceptional women to be celebrated for your 20+ years of remarkable achievement, contribution and impact in music.

Rooted in the conviction that 'We Are Stronger Together', we have asked each honoree to nominate another woman they admire to share the spotlight.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is envisioned as an annual celebration, creating a platform to elevate and empower women who are shaping the future of music.
