About Aria Jay

Aria Jay is an engineer, producer and artist based in NYC. She began vocal training at 11 and studied jazz performance and composition at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. After college, Aria recorded and toured with jazz groups and as a solo artist. She released two EP’s with AWAL. She studied mixing and mastering at Berklee, and last year was invited to Mix with the Masters with Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese. She is currently a verified mix engineer on Derek Ali’s platform EngineEars, a writer, producer, and engineer for Gender Amplified, and is certified in Dolby Atmos mixing.

Women Sharing The Spotlight is founded in the ethos that when we make more space for each other, when we bring more women into the room, we create a vibrant spirit and ecosystem of mentorship, growth and opportunity -- together.
