Anjali Rose began playing piano and singing around 6 years old but didn't start sharing her musical ideas with other creators until she was 20. Around that time Anjali began to play in various bands of Western Massachusetts such as Ginger Libations which inspired her to start touring as an independent artist. Now Anjali is a musician, videographer, and active member of The Sound Mind Collective, a Brooklyn based music community which includes a monthly meet up of the "Womxn's Music Forum" of which Anjali is a recurring panelist. ​Anjali has organized and performed various shows around the globe in cities like Berlin, Marseille, London, Rome, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, New York, Montreal, Olympia WA, Seattle, New Orleans, and more. Her tunes meld folk, rock, soul, jazz, experimental and Indian music textures. Through the bi racial influence of a computer vision engineer and an abstract water color painter as parents Anjali folds the acoustics of her haunting globally inspired voice with electronic sound scapes edited on Ableton Live. Throughout her career, Anjali hopes to continue expanding on the ways she sees sound and art intersect to reconnect the mind with the body and spirit. Anjali is currently collaborating with a variety of artists such as Whyzman, a beats based R&B artist originally from LA, and Wiwul, an Algerian fusion project based in Harlem.
