Idarose, aka Alexis Idarose Kesselman, is a Billboard and Spotify chart-topping songwriter, producer, and composer. She co-penned the Spotify US & Global number one and Billboard Hot 100 top ten single Glimpse of Us by Joji. Alexis also produced/co-wrote Grace VanderWaal’s new single Lion’s Den. Her artist project Idarose draws listeners into her world of dreams. With vocals that feel elegantly refined yet irresistibly raw, Idarose makes songs that make you want to dance, cry, smile, laugh, and think all at the same time. Idarose, aka Alexis Kesselman, is a Warner Chappell signed songwriter, producer, composer and artist who co-penned Joji’s Spotify US & Global number one and Billboard Hot 100 top ten single “Glimpse of Us”. She has worked with chart-breaking artists including TWICE, Becky G, Trevor Daniel, Bebe Rexha, Anthony Ramos and more, has created her own independent, viral artist project, is developing multiple musicals as a composer/lyricist/book-writer and has had her songs and film scores utilized in award-winning shorts and feature-length films. Recently, Alexis produced and co-wrote Grace Vaanderwaal’s new single “Lion’s Den.” Her work also includes her co-penmanship of “F is for Friends,” the third single by Tainy, Becky G, and Trevor Daniel for the new Spongebob movie, “ Spongebob: Sponge on the Run”. She recently wrote and produced the musical number “You Do You” for Jonathan Van Ness’s Netflix show “Getting Curious.” Back in 2020, Tik Tok sensation Abigail Barlow’s debut EP “Abigail”, featuring Alexis’ delicate yet powerful production of “If I Saw You Today”, reached the number 2 spot on the iTunes Pop Charts and the number 29 spot on the All Genres iTunes Album Charts just 12 hours after its release. In 2021, Alexis co-wrote the single “Doughnuts” for world famous Kpop group TWICE’s Holiday project. Along with writing and producing for other artists, Alexis developed her own artist project under the name “Idarose.” At the beginning of 2021, after receiving over 1.8 million views on Tik Tok on a small clip of the original song, she released her breakout single “When I Don’t Have You,” which she co-wrote with Abigail Barlow and self produced. The song has garnered over 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone. She then released her follow-up single “Different People” which she wrote, recorded, produced and mixed herself. Alexis completed her undergraduate degree in Media Writing and Production and minored in Songwriting and Motion Pictures at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She received her Master of Arts in Creative Media and Technology from Berklee College of Music with a specialization in Writing and Design for Musical Theater at the legendary Power Station Studios in NYC. Alexis is signed as a songwriter/producer with Warner Chappell and EP Entertainment.
