About Suzanne Taichert

Songwriter since age 14. Went to Los Angeles at age 17 to get BA in Music at University of Southern California. Was in several cool bands, met and wrote music with celebrities. While recording songs with 9-piece jazz band "Spice of Life" got mixed up with a psychotic recording engineer and lost it all. Raised a daughter alone in San Diego, then moved to Florida. Daughter has health issues, but is thriving in South Florida and around the world. For survival, I worked as a pre-school and private school music teacher, piano teacher, musician and medical transcriptionist. Returned to ABQ, NM in 2005 to look after parents. Life goes on, but aging fast! Just now resurrecting original songs from 1979-97 to perform at a local church coffee shop (Solid Grounds) at the end of Jan, 2023.
