Hi, my name is Mariel Darling. As a female musician, my main goal is to encourage my listeners to embrace their inner confidence and share it with the world. My latest single ‘Free Girl’ is a summer female empowerment anthem boosting my “Darling’s” courage. I am a 22-year-old singer/songwriter/performer/social media creator from Massachusetts, currently residing in The Big Apple. I love to personally connect with my hundreds of thousands of fans and create entertaining content across social media platforms. Over the last several years I have grown up in a recording studio learning the in’s and out’s of the music industry and creative process. I have worked with numerous Grammy award winning and established producers. Most recently I have been collaborating with major label producers and songwriters; Aaron Reid from HitCo Records, Mike Check of Kids of the Forest, Cass Dillon, and Shaun Bless Owens of SoulDiggaz,. My latest single Free Girl' was a collaborative effort created with executive producer Aaron Reid, BL$$D, JordanXL, and co-written by Darling and Major Myjah. Performing is my passion. Whether it is virtual performing, music videos, or with a live audience, connecting with people through music is what drives me. I pitched, produced, and performed my own top hits song countdown called "The Jukebox Countdown," a weekly Sunday night syndicated TV show. The show was streamed on Live.ly TV, Musical.ly's live broadcasting platform, now known as TikTok. My show generated the apps largest consecutive audience of 3 million viewers per show. I have also performed and toured across the Northeast as well as performed at notorious venues like Madison Square Garden. I strive to continue to pave the way for females in the entertainment industry to follow their dreams and inspire others.
