We are seeking Part-Time Music Manager to support the growth of a New York-based recording artist. As the Music Manager you will be supporting various aspects of their music career, including promotions, bookings, marketing, and overall artist management.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute effective strategies to promote the artist's music and increase their visibility in the industry.
– Collaborate with the artist to create marketing plans and coordinate release campaigns for new music, including singles, albums, and music videos.
– Cultivate relationships with key industry professionals, such as talent buyers at Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube and Amazon music
– Coordinate and negotiate bookings for live performances, showcases, and events, ensuring the artist's schedule is well-managed.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in artist management, music promotion, or related fields is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of the music industry, trends, and digital marketing platforms.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and fans.
– Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently.
– Familiarity with the New York music scene and networks is a plus.
