How we LEAD:
The Legal Analyst will be responsible for contract interpretation, analysis and
briefing, and will act as a liaison between our music label Business Affairs
departments and the Royalties department. The position requires experience
analyzing legal documents and providing practical legal and business advice.
How you'll CREATE:
Provide interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual royalty obligations.
Complete royalty-centered briefs based on legal documents to ensure compliance.
Input royalty rates and terms from briefs into royalties translation system.
Research and answer issues that arise from both label business affairs and royalties department.
Bring your VIBE:
1-3 years related experience.
BA/BS degree and JD degree.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize; works well under pressure.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in fast paced environment.
