Hi, my name is Talia Rizika! I am a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in Marketing, Performing Arts Management (Music Business), and Spanish. I am interested in pursuing a career within the music industry because I love music’s power to move its audience, whether it's through brand partnerships or at live events. This love inspired me to learn to be a DJ to do the same as well as curate weekly new music playlists for University of Michigan's students through my Spotify account, Michigan New Music. Finally, I am in awe when I see a musician perform live, so on campus I am involved in organizations that book and promote shows on all scales. I am looking to pursue a job in the business side of the music industry, specifically in marketing.
