About Katie Jones

For over 10 years & from coast to coast, KJ has been supporting talent across the industry.

She’s spent the last 4.5 years at National Sawdust, non-profit music venue in Brooklyn, as part of the programming + show advancing team for over 250-350 shows per year. Currently, she holds the title of Artistic Manager, Curator + Producer! This includes offer negotiations, show contracts, artist paymentS, managing a staff of 5 artist liaisons that support artist relations + hospitality assist, and producing on-site events + shows.

In 2016, KJ founded The Revolution, now known as THE REV. This music series shines light and gives a solid platform to Brooklyn, Harlem and The Bronx based artists that are not only pushing boundaries for change within the world through a sense of activism within their music but artists that are on the breeding ground of genre. Once a month, 3 different bands of 3 different genres get to showcase their newest works + projects at National Sawdust. To date, the series has supported 130 bands + projects as well as 785 individual musicians.

Outside of Miss Jones’ full time role in Brooklyn, she manages 5 artists including all music-related bookings, admin for their careers, advancing live shows, fielding appearances and negotiating payment on their behalf as well as tour managing (east or west coast routes), & supporting + coordinating new records and/or releases.

Within that sector of her career, KJ freelance producea shows all over US including one-offs at various venues and festivals.

Continuing to support artists is her ultimate joy so moving into the near year of 2020, Katie is officially launching RAILROAD HART: a family owned, southern hospitality management company serving musicians of all dimensions.
