About Adrian Conner

I write, record my own music. I play guitar professionally since 2001. My main job is an entertainer/guitar player animal in Hell's Belles. When I'm not touring with Hell's Belles, I'm either touring in my band Adrian Conner or Beaux Cheveux or writing recording and now producing. My official bio below: Adrian Conner on her ninth contribution, explores combining electronic music with the full on rock band in the smashing five song EP SPAZ KITTY. She explains, "Experimenting with DAW's has opened up songwriting for me and enabled me to be more prolific than ever before." Adrian and her band know all the tricks to conquering the love of an audience with a utility belt of versatility. Opening for a range of acts that have included Concrete Blonde, Brody Dalle, the Texas Tornados, Girl in a Coma, Patrice Pike, Zepparella, and her own wildly popular mighty quintet of warrior princess' Hell's Belles! Adrian's musical journey (live or in your speakers) touches on loud rock, acoustic rock, electronic sounds, stunning original material; peppering the experience with songs that urge you to practice your best air guitaring skills. No stranger to playing guitar on the actual bar, Adrian and her band will demand your attention and win your heart. Described as “Exciting, rambunctious and kinda scary” by Guitar Player Magazine; Adrian delivers a wealth of material from interpretations of acoustic metal songs like Zeppelin’s Bron-Y-Aur stomp with a sweet voice, to her more aggressive snarling guitar originals as well as her pop rock material. Some of which are co-written with Kathy Valentine of the Go-Go’s which won Adrian a Best of Austin Music Award in 2011. Her affection for all things rock n’ roll is evidenced by the fact that she has spent 17 years as the lead guitarist in Hell’s Belles, the highly touted all female AC/DC tribute band from Seattle of which Angus Young himself is a fan. She serves in a similar capacity for the Judas Priest tribute Belles Bent For Leather. And most recently the exciting pair up of fellow tribute band pioneer Clementine of Zepparella to form the Dream Pop band Beaux Cheveux. Despite spending an enormous amount of time touring in support all four projects, the Austin/Seattle native rocker finds plenty of time to feed her songwriting soul by touring with her solo band. “Raw, edgy, filled with unstoppable confidence… “ Maria Mesa, Austin DAZE “Vocally sweet, musically snarling” Kevin Curtin, Austin Chronicle ”It’s like a woman who’s said everything she needs to say and slams the door in your face.” Nina Hernandez, Austin Chronicle

Adrian's Experience

I’ve been performing live professionally since 2001 as guitar player/entertainer. I’ve put out 9 releases of original music under Adrian Conner. My 2009 album BFD has some songs co-written with Kathy Valentine. My latest EP SpazKitty (released May 2018) is my introduction into working, producing and integrating DAWs into my songwriting. I was a co-producer on Beaux Cheveux’s 2018 release. My producing was focused on getting best vocal take possible for my bandmate and myself. And also i submitted many of the sounds on the record. Also co-wrote the music to the entire album with my bandmate Clementine.
