About Rebecca Feynberg

Music started with seven years in a conservatory studying classical piano, theory, and voice. At 14 I started playing guitar and writing songs. In college I discovered the ARP 2600 and DX7 and fell in love with electronic music. My master’s thesis was about audio preservation, research on wax cylinders I did with the Thomas Edison National Historical park. From there I started working with music archives and mastering old sound recordings. I’ve taught music technology classes at NYU, Hofstra University, and Ramapo College of New Jersey.
