I am a young woman aspiring to use all the talents I posses. I write poetry and I am learning to forge those words into song format. I am an acrylic painter artist, disciplining myself to create new images daily; as well as dabble into other mediums such as oils and water color. I am a dancer, though I have not recently added movement into my recent schedules. And lastly, I am an actor - I always participated in drama arts up until college where I feel I made the mistake of choosing literature over creatives (though I did take a few illustration classes). My end goal in submitting to She Is The Music is to ensure I dedicate my life to my natural God given talents to help change the narrative of young women of color who have experienced trauma and can use the arts to express healing.
