Elenna Canlas is a keyboardist, synthesist, percussionist, vocalist, musical director, producer, and sonic artist based on Lenape and Canarsie lands in New York City. With a career spanning over a decade performing on renowned stages and recording in celebrated studios worldwide, she has supported a multitude of artists and bands, including Cochemea, treya lam, Allison Russell (Grammy for Best American Roots Performance), Lollise, Xenia Rubinos, Kirsty Rock, Sinkane, Underground System, and Easy Star All-Stars. Elenna also fosters a practice as a creative facilitator and wayfinder. She is a Found Sound Nation collaborator, a OneBeat global community member, and an alumna of their 2022 OneBeat Sahara fellowship. An artist and collaborator, she channels her musical vision as Lupa, reverberating her artistic vision as a sonic world-builder and truth teller through the portals of grief, joy, memory, and presence.
