About Katelyn Clampett

Katelyn Clampett, a North Carolina native, is a Berklee College of Music graduate (Songwriting and Music Production) and ex-background singer/vocal arranger and guitarist/keyboardist for artists such as Selena Gomez, Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande. While on the road, Clampett would set up her portable studio in her hotel room and record demos for other artists, companies and for her own songs. After 3 years in LA, she made the move to Nashville to pursue her true passion, writing songs, when she wrote the title track for Leigh Nash (Sixpence None the Richer)’s Hymns record, as well as Elevation Church’s “Nothing is Wasted” album on Capitol CMG. In 2016, Clampett was asked to produce a remix of “Cotton-Eyed Joe” that landed her a Budlight commercial, and propelled her into the world of production out of her home studio in Nashville, her self-described “beat cave." As a country artist herself signed with Creative Artists Agency, Clampett toured the country, opening for acts such as Dan and Shay, Gloriana, Kip Moore, Frankie Ballard, Love and Theft, David Nail, etc. This past year, she has taken the year off from her own artistry to pour into writing and producing for upcoming country artists, to debut in 2019. She specializes in songwriting, vocal production/vocal arrangements and progressive country production, using Logic, ProTools and Ableton. Her most recent releases are Jaden Michaels' “Making Up” (vocal production), and her self-titled, self-written and self/female-produced release “Home for Christmas.” She is excited for what is to come in 2019!
