About EB Rebel

EB Rebel is an NYC-based artist originally from Dallas. Her first EP, TRANCE, garnered notable praise from Dallas Observer and AFROPUNK, as well as earning her a spot in the critically acclaimed BET documentary Stay Woke. Coming off of that success, Rebel dug deeper with her recent EP Mama, I'm Ok. The inspiration behind Mama, I'm Ok came when Rebel moved from her hometown of Dallas, TX to the big city of NYC. The tracks on this project are a glance at EB Rebel’s thoughts during her first year in NY; and the emotions that come with being away from family and following her dreams. Pair the new changes with old, menacing mental health issues (she has a history of anxiety and depression) and you have a complex project of highs and the lows. The project featured lead singles such as “Club 27”, "12" and "Spiritual". Rebel is currently touring and working on new music; looking to have another great year. EB Rebel in the press... “Rebel’s confident delivery and affecting storytelling are the greatest feat.” - Central Track “EB's focus is on making music that perfectly blends social and cultural issues with her distinctively addictive vocals and sharp, commanding beats.”
-Dallas Observer “I really think she’s a talent to watch!” – Laurent Grant, Stay Woke director “Chillingly powerful.” - AFROPUNK
