About Dahlia Lagos
Dahlia Lagos is a Colombian-American bilingual singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. She recently wrote and produced commercials for Walt Disney World Resorts, Disneyland, and California Adventure Park, featuring Didi Romero, as well as the entrance theme song for WWE wrestler Lola Vice, which she also performs. She has written and produced songs for critically acclaimed TV shows such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, VIDA, The L Word: Generation Q, HBO's We're Here, and NASCAR Race Hub, among others. Additionally, she has scored various short films, including Hulu's Latinx Heritage Month features Acentos Bienvenidos: Juan Capellan and Acentos Bienvenidos: Maryangel García-Ramos, and the upcoming film SuperLatina.
Dahlia is known for her versatility across genres, styles, and sounds, excelling in Latin, reggaeton, pop, folk, and classical scores. She composed the podcast theme song for Friends and Family with Aurora James and created original music for the podcast TONE, produced by VICE & Planned Parenthood in partnership with R29 Somos. Her work extends to campaigns for Toyota, Univision, Paramount, Viacom, Match.com, Smartwater, and Google, making her a sought-after producer for companies such as Universal Music/Elias, Mean Machine, Sound Revolver, Univision, and WOMG.
She is currently co-writing and co-producing with her father, Alirio H. Lagos, on his next album (3 Million on TikTok), and collaborating with Rami Afuni (SAINt JHN, Kiesza), Jake Bowman (Kendrick Lamar), Martin Estrada (Gashi, Macy Gray), Chaz Mishan (Baby Monster, Anitta, Lil Wayne), and The Cheat Codes for major label artists. She has also been working closely with Alana Da Fonseca (Netflix's Wednesday, Alvin and The Chipmunks, and Trolls) on Film & TV projects.
Dahlia frequently speaks at engagements to highlight the importance of women in music production and share her experiences as a Latina in the entertainment industry. She has been invited to speak at USC, Mount Saint Mary's University, Cal Poly Pomona, The Light Leaks, and more.
