Cat Woywod's sound weaves poetic post-apocalyptic environments with field recordings, samples, voice and objects, liquifying the boundaries of time, space, somatic, digital, the artificial and the organic.   Cat Woywod (it/they) grew up in the Silicon Valley of the USA, near the lignite mines of the Lower Rhine and the metal industry of the BergischesLand in Germany. It currently studies and works at the Kunsthochschule Kassel in the Sound / Direct Media department of Prof. Mario de Vega and Hugo Esquinca.
