Cat Delphi recently played piano in the Alicia Keys woman of colour Orchestra (April 2023) & Recent TV performances include Playing piano with Shania Twain (ITV 'Starstruck' 2023), 'Top Of The Pops' (BBC 1), HBO Drama 'Succession' (Sky Atlantic) The Amazing Mr Blunden (Sky One) and TV Drama ‘Last Tango in Halifax’ (BBC) & played piano with GRAMMY Award Winner Sir Bryn Terfel. Solo artist performances include 'Jools Holland Presents' &'The Dermot O' Leary show' (Radio 2), having previously studied Classical Piano at the world famous 'Royal College of Music'. ​ Cat is a ‘One’s to Watch’ recording artist and was the first recipient of the MOBO AWARDS Fund. She is a GOLD selling songwriter with co-write releases through Jive Records | Sony Music and most recently with Epic Records | Sony Music & Perfecto Records ( Paul Oakenfolds Label). Cat's songs have been played on TV shows including ’NBC News ’ (USA), 'Home & Away’ (Australia), ‘Neighbours’ (Australia) MTV (France) & ITV ‘This Morning’ (London). She has written music that has had over 2.5 MILLION streams and continues to write with artists from Universal, Warner , Sony, as well as Grammy nominated Writers & Producers. ​Her solo debut single 'FIRE' reached over 600,000 streams, was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 and had support from Jo Whiley, Richard Madeley & Kiss 100. Cat was nominated for ‘Best Songwriter’ &‘Best Female Solo’ at the British ‘Unsigned Music Awards’ presented by Laura Whitmore and Radio 1’s Chris Stark on SKY1, regularly supported by BBC Introducing, was British Airways ‘One’s to Watch’ & continues to be played on radio stations all over the world including USA, China and Europe. Cat came back from a songwriting trip to LA in June 2022 with some exciting projects on the horizon (more to follow). Music has always been a huge part of Cat’s life from a young age, she received her Grade 8 piano aged 12 and after studying at The Royal College of Music in London, was later awarded the 'Leverhulme' scholarship (the highest award given to one student per year) to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she gained a Bachelor of Music BMus (Hons) and Master of Arts (MA).
