Artist management company seeks a full time Day-to-Day Manager based in Los Angeles. The position is currently open and recruiting is underway. The position is salaried with full benefits and requires at least three years of experience. Our 18-person team, based in LA, Nashville and Brooklyn, manages a roster of musicians which include Leon Bridges, Sharon Van Etten, Maggie Rogers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jon Batiste, Ray LaMontagne, WALK THE MOON, Lennon Stella, Mandy Moore, Caamp and Fancy Hagood.

Role and Responsibilities:
○ Project manage the day-to-day operations of up to three artists
○ Efficiently articulate everything from the tiniest logistical detail to the entire marketing strategy of a project to all different audiences: colleagues, labels, agents, publishers, promoters, brands, merch partners, touring personnel, the artist
○ Work closely with the manager and marketing teams to develop authentic marketing strategies for music and tour rollouts — contribute ideas for creative content, fan engagement, brand partnerships etc.
○ Serve as point of contact with touring personnel
○ Accompany artists to fittings, photo and video shoots, press appearances
○ Communicate regularly with artists to secure approvals, facilitate interviews, confirm schedules
○ Organize and maintain all of the artist’s professional files – audio and visual assets, personnel files, travel documents, contracts, logins

Must have:
○ exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
○ experience managing multiple projects
○ experience managing calendars and logistics
○ three years of experience in the music/entertainment industry and more than a passing familiarity with the mechanics of the music industry

Must be:
○ a creative problem solver
○ a thoughtful communicator – adept at tailoring the wording, format and timing of information to different audiences
○ collaborative and team-oriented but also a self-starter who knows when to take charge
