Calling All Crows is seeking #HereForTheMusic program facilitators!

Who we are:

Musician Chad Stokes and Tour Manager Sybil Gallagher founded Calling All Crows in 2008 to bring their commitment to hands-on service and activism on the road. Since then, Calling All Crows has continued to connect and mobilize music fans to join feminist movements for justice and equality by raising awareness, taking action, and collectively working for social change. Our pre-show service projects, virtual benefit concerts, and concert outreach activities create a community of empowered and engaged music fans and musicians.

Our #HereForTheMusic campaign is working to end sexual violence in the music industry. Calling All Crows' #HereForTheMusic facilitators will gain a deep understanding of our sexual violence prevention training program to effectively instruct venue staff, touring staff, musicians, music industry professionals, music fans, and others who enroll in the course. Facilitators will engage with and guide course participants to build intervention and violence prevention skills, distribute #HereForTheMusic materials, and provide an encouraging and supportive learning environment. *Facilitator trainees will be paid $750 for our 2 day training, in addition to lodging, meals, and transportation also provided.

Job description:
#HereForTheMusic facilitators are responsible for teaching our sexual violence prevention course to individuals, small groups, and/or large groups of course participants. Participants range from music industry professionals, music fans, venue staff, promoters, touring professionals, artists, and more. The course is interactive and involves audience engagement and participation.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
-Learn #HereForTheMusic training materials and other relevant information necessary for instructing the material to others
-Prepare, deliver, and facilitate our #HereForTheMusic course materials in a group setting
-Connect and engage with course participants
-Travel to training locations
-Confidently represent Calling All Crows in training settings
-Answer questions and provide further information about Calling All Crows and #HereForTheMusic to participants upon request
-Engage with participants before/after training as necessary
-Attend our in person Train the Trainer course on March 20th and 21st (all travel and lodging will be provided, training is fully paid) *required

Requirements:
Background in or heavy interest in the music industry and live music
Excellent presentation skills
Active listening skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Passion for advocacy and equality
Willingness and availability to travel
Familiarity with live music venues and festivals
